Hedland Senior High School Year 10 students, spent two days in the Trade Training Centre this term as part of the annual Try-a-Trade program.

Intensively working with industry representatives and school staff, the students gained exposure to the program and what it has to offer. Making use of industry-standard equipment, practical tasks were completed. Students were expected to wear PPE according to industry requirements, and engage in industry-related tasks, such as toolbox and induction meetings. The students were thoroughly engaged with the program providing motivation to finalise their applications for 2024.
