Hedland Success Program

The Hedland Success program provides students with access to more targeted curriculum and opportunities to plan their own pathways, leading to successful post-school destinations.
The Partnership provides Hedland Senior High School students with the knowledge and skills, shaping attitudes through a planned program of learning experiences to assist young people in making informed decisions about their future. By increasing their understanding of career pathways and providing targeted support, they will have more opportunities to engage in the new world of work, training or study, ensuring a successful future.

Success Programs

The program is divided into classes, loosely based on the key phases of school and their unique needs.

Steps to Success
The Lower School Engagement Program caters for students in Years 7 to 9, with a focus on literacy and numeracy, and preparation through skill-building.

Working for Success
The Senior School Engagement Program caters for students in Years 10 to 12, with a focus on completing certified training and workplace readiness.

Redefining Success
Formerly known as the Welcome Centre, this caters for students across all year groups with special educational needs.

Striving for Success
Formerly known as Milli Maya, this is an alternative learning pathway for students requiring wrap-around support to successfully engage in learning through an alternative curriculum.
