Students Working with Local Businesses

The Partnership Pathways strategy seeks to provide students with targeted support to increase opportunity to engage in the new world of work, training or study.

In 2022, Newman Senior High School worked closely with local businesses and organisations to provide work shadow experiences, which has resulted in 16 successful school-based training applicants commencing in February 2023 across a range of pathways including Engineering, Business (BHP, Education and Child Care) and Community Services Pathways.
